Since the early 1970s, Dr. Fran Kaiser has been an essential figure in the medical fields of endocrinology and gerontology. After receiving an MD from the New York Medical College, she has contributed her skills to different hospitals and universities throughout the country. She has taught at the University of Minnesota, UCLA School of Medicine, St. Louis University and the University of Texas Southwestern in addition to working at New York City’s Beth Israel Medical Center, Merck & Co. and volunteering at the Dallas VA Medical Center. Most recently, she has stepped into the role as the CEO of Kaiser and Associates Consulting, a consortium of subject matter experts in medical affairs, medicine, especially in the area of endocrinology and metabolism, clinical research, managed care and health systems.
Dr. Kaiser has many achievements in the field, including her research in hormonal changes due to aging and studies of therapy in erectile dysfunction. She has also done research in the areas of aging and testosterone, estrogen, frailty and women’s health, sexuality and osteoporosis. She has contributed to multiple journals and published works. |
